With many places of worship in the Gaza Strip damaged or lost, communities need alternative spaces where they can gather for prayer and continue practising their faith amid difficult circumstances.
The Temporary Mosque Project in Gaza aims to create a prayer space using tarpaulins and plastic sheeting, covering an area of 315 square metres. The project helps meet the community’s need for a shared place of worship while supporting connection and solidarity among local families.
