The amount of rain that fell on the Needed People revealed the difficult humanitarian conditions that the besieged Strip is experiencing. Dozens of poor people's homes have been flooded, especially those homes covered with dilapidated tarpaulin, which places before charitable organizations an urgent humanitarian need to help those affected by the weather depression so that the suffering does not occur again.
During its field tour, the Al-Khair Foundation team monitored about 50 homes damaged by the weather depression, and these homes need very urgent repairs to the roofs of their homes, at an average cost of $300 per home.
Through this project, we seek to raise $15,000 to help 50 homeless families in Needed People, to protect them from the harsh winter cold, and to protect their children from the winter rains.
