As part of its humanitarian campaign during the holy month of Ramadan, Al-Khair Foundation implemented the “Iftar for Fasting People” initiative in Somaliland. The foundation organized two communal Ramadan iftar meals that served a number of fasting individuals in the region, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and social cohesion that characterizes this blessed month.
This initiative comes within the foundation’s efforts to implement Ramadan iftar programs aimed at supporting the most vulnerable communities and enhancing food security during Ramadan. Fasting individuals gathered around the iftar tables in an atmosphere marked by compassion, unity, and mutual support.
Al-Khair Foundation’s team ensured that the two iftar events were organized in a way that guaranteed meals reached beneficiaries in an orderly manner, while preserving the dignity of the beneficiary families and delivering assistance in a responsible humanitarian spirit that reflects the values of relief work.
This initiative is part of a broader series of Ramadan and humanitarian projects implemented by Al-Khair Foundation in several countries, including providing iftar meals and food assistance, as part of its ongoing efforts to support the most vulnerable communities during the holy month of Ramadan.
