Al-Khair Foundation, in partnership with the Committee for the Advocacy of the Palestinian People (CAPP) in Spain, organized a workshop titled “Emergency Response to Save Lives in Gaza” in Valencia, Spain, with broad participation from European charities and humanitarian organizations.
The workshop brought together more than 50 participants representing 24 European charitable and humanitarian organizations, alongside key humanitarian leaders, including Imam Qasim, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Khair Foundation, who emphasized the importance of joint action and coordinated efforts to address the unprecedented humanitarian challenges in the Gaza Strip.
Sessions focused on identifying the most urgent humanitarian needs in Gaza, particularly in the health sector, education, and infrastructure, and reviewed priority interventions required to deliver rapid and effective life-saving impact.
Participants also stressed the importance of coordination and unified efforts among European relief organizations, as well as the need to direct resources toward the most impactful and sustainable pathways to alleviate the suffering of affected populations and enhance the efficiency of humanitarian response.
This workshop forms part of Al-Khair Foundation’s ongoing efforts to strengthen collaborative humanitarian action and enhance coordination among supporting institutions in Europe, enabling a more effective and immediate response to support the people of Gaza amid the severe humanitarian situation.
